Beginning in 1987, KBIF was the first local media outlet for the Indian community of the Central Valley to offer Punjabi programming live every Saturday and Sunday. The weekend programming is replayed Monday thru Friday on our free Punjabi mobile app.
Our programming is produced by local leaders, teachers, doctors and business entrepreneurs. In 1994, KBIF saw a need to provide the large Southeast Asian community with locally produced news, entertainment and cultural programming. We have since become the number one outlet for the Southeast Asian communities of the Central Valley.
